Timeline
EOI is opened from1 July 2024
Dispatching of samples - mid-October 2024 by DHL courier, usually delivered in 2-3 days. Insurance and carbon offset are included in the price.
Testing and reporting by the participants - 4 wks
Reporting results no later than 22 November 2024, Friday
Reporting score to the labs by the CF - 13 December 2024
Samples
Two samples of undisclosed levels will be provided. Skim pasteurised milk of Australian dairy establishments is mixed to attain from ND upto 5±2% levels of a1 b-CN of total a1 + a2 b-CN.
Each vial contains milk powder resulting from freeze-drying 1 mL of milk. Larger samples available on request.
There are no limitations on methodology e.g. by PCR, CZE, MS etc Laboratories are encouraged to submit multiple results e.g. UV/VIS and LCMS. Reporting units: (1) level of a1 b-CN or (2) a1 ratio to a1+a2. PCR results as Detected or ND can be submitted with LOD indicated.

Prepayments are by invoice or credit card, the facility for credit cards payments will be set on our website after receiving your request.

If cancelled by the participant after the 1 of October 2024, refund of the entire amount minus AUD 50 processing fee.
After the dispatch

Shipment to International Participants - the nature of samples - pasteurised cows milk, country of origin - AUSTRALIA. CF provides SDS of the product. Terms of Delivery by full service courier as DAP* article.
* DAP (Delivered At Place) - the seller delivers when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer on the arriving means of transport ready for unloading at the named place of destination. The seller is required to clear the goods for export and the importer is responsible for effecting customs clearance, and paying any customs duties. Ref.: DHL Courier website

Posting of confidential Z-Score report to participants - 9 July 2021
Reporting Results - please report results of all or any of 3 samples as ND(<LOD) or X.xx% (two decimals) of a1 b-CN to sum of a1 and a2 b-CN determined by any analytical technique, e.g. ELISA, CE, LC or MS. Round Robin consists of 3 samples, ranging from ND(<LOD) up to ~5% of a1 b-CN. Samples are stable at room temperature for 2-3 weeks, keep at +4C on receiving until analysed.
